A short sample of my previous work over the years.
Voices of Geelong
Across 6 months in 2013 young creative leaders from Geelong's Karen community were invited to participate in animation, song writing, spoken word, video and photography workshops exploring ideas of identity, place & belonging. One of the participants, Kaw Doh Soe Naw Nyu (KDS), created his first animation with me to make this piece. The text is based on a poem he wrote during a spoken word workshop with Tariro Movando.
I recently helped my very talented friend, Fi Dalwood work on this animation. See more information about the project here: http://creative.vic.gov.au/creative-state/introduction/victorias-creative-industries
Talking Difference Fellowship
In 2013, I ran art workshops addressing identity and casual racism in schools across Melbourne. We addressed what it feels like to be a young person in Australia today. To find out more about my project "Finding Australia's Identity", Click here.
YGLAM Queer Youth Theatre Animation Workshops
In 2011, I helped this talented group of young people learn animation to tell their love stories.
